Ingredients

  • 2 2/3 c. flour
  • 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2/3 c. butter or oleo
  • 2 1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 (6-oz.) pkg. semi sweet chocolate bits

Step 1

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Melt butter in large pan. Stir in brown sugar. Cool for 10 minutes. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well. Stir in flour mixutre, nuts and chocolate pieces. Spread in 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool and cut.
