Swedish Pineapple Cake

Ingredients
- Icing:
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 lg. can crushed pineapple (unsweetened with juice)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. nuts
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1 stick butter, softened

Preparation
Step 1
Stir or mix dry ingredients. Set aside. Beat eggs, add pineapple and stir. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Add nuts. Pour into well greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Mix together icing ingredients until well bleded. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Add 1 3/4 cups powdered sugar. Beat until fluffy. Spread on cooled cake. Sprinkle with crushed nuts. Keep in refrigerator.
