Ingredients
- 2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tsp kosher or sea salt
- 1 tsp lemon pepper
- 1/4 tsp minced garlic
- 1/4 tsp dried thyme
- 1 (4#) beef tenderloin, trimmed

Preparation
Step 1
Combine seasonings. Pat into beef and let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes.
Broil 6 inches from heat 15 minutes on a lightly greased rack in a roasting pan, reduce heat to 375* and bake 35-40 minutes.
Let stand 10 minutes before slicing.
