Mystery Pudding

Ingredients

• 1 c. flour
• 1 c. sugar
• 1 tsp. soda
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1 beaten egg
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 1 (No. 2) can undrained fruit cocktail
• 1 c. brown sugar
• 1 c. nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Sift flour, sugar, soda and salt together. Mix egg, vanilla and fruit cocktail and add to the first mixture; stir well. Put in a a well greased 8 x 12-inch pan. Mix brown sugar and nuts and sprinkle on top. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
