  • 4 Egg Whites
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 pinch of Cream of Tartar
  • 1 Tablespoon Corn Starch

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 270 degrees. Beat Egg Whites until they form stiff peaks, then add sugar a little at a time. Add Tartar, Corn Starch and vanilla. Draw a circle on parchment paper. (I use a dinner plate to trace the circle) Pile the meringue onto the parchment paper, using a spatula to spread in the circle, piling up slightly higher in the middle. Bake one hour. Let cool and top with any fresh fruit.
