Sugar and Spice Nuts
This sweet and spicy pecan and walnut mix is so tempting you won’t be able to stop snacking. Their baked-on crunchy coating of sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove and ginger is their delectable secret.

- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp ground ginger
- 1 egg white
- 1 1/4 cups pecan halves
- 1 1/2 cups whole almonds

Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Lightly grease rimmed baking sheet. In large mixing bowl, combine sugar, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and ginger; set aside.
2. In another large mixing bowl, whisk together egg white and 2 tbsp water until frothy. Toss nuts in egg white mixture. Drain nuts by lifting from egg white with slotted spoon.
3. Toss nuts in spice mixture to coat. Spread in single layer on prepared baking sheet.
4. Bake until coating is set, about 15 minutes. After removing from oven, break up with spatula. Serve or store cooled nuts in airtight container.
