Ingredients
- 4 lbs. pork ribs, cut in serving pieces
- Sauce
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup catsup
- 1/3 cup chili sauce
- 2 tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 tbsp. chopped onion
- 1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp. mustard
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- dash bottled hot pepper sauce
- 3 thin lemon slices.

Preparation
Step 1
Simmer ribs covered in enough salted water to cover about 1 hour, or till nearly tender.
Sauce
In saucepan melt 1 tbsp. butter; add 1 clove garlic, crushed, and cook 4 to 5 min. Add 1/2 cup catsup, chili sauce, brown sugar, onion, worcestershire sauce, mustard, celery seed, salt, hot pepper sauce. (I added some vinegar) Bring to boiling.
Drain ribs; place in shallow pan; pour boiling sauce over. Bake at 350 for 20 min., basting often with sauce.
Makes 6-8 servings.
