Ingredients

  • 1 can (14.5 oz) garbanzo beans, drained & rinsed
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) dark red kidney beans, drained & rinsed
  • 3/4 C diced green pepper
  • 1/2 C diced red onion
  • 1/4 C distilled or cider vinegar
  • 1/4 C sugar
  • 2 Tbsp canola oil
  • 1/2 tsp celery seed
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp ground black pepper

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine beans, green pepper,and onion. In a separate bowl, whisk together vinegar, sugar, oil, celery seed, salt and black pepper. Pour dressing mixture over bean mixture and gently toss to combine ingredients. Chill at least two hours before serving, allowing flavors to blend.
