Ingredients
- 2 cubes butter (1/2 pound)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts, almonds, or cashewss (optional)
- powdered sugar for rolling

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Cream butter. Add sugar and vanilla and beat until light and fluffy. Mix in flour.
Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Bake on ungreased cookie sheets for 8-10 minutes. While still hot, roll in powdered sugar. Cool. Roll in powdered sugar again.
