Ingredients

  • 3 cups frozen prepared hash browns, thawed
  • 5 tblsp butter, melted
  • 1 cup diced, cooked ham
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 4 oz. can diced green chiles (drained)
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp white pepper

Step 1

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

Press the hash browns between paper towels to remove any excess moisture. Press into the bottom and sides of an ungreased 10-inch pie pan.

Drizzle with the melted butter and bake for 25 minutes, or until browned.

In a bowl combine the ham, cheese, and diced green chiles. Spoon over the crust.

In a small bowl, beat the eggs, milk, salt and pepper.

Pour the mixture over the ham filling.

Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake for 30 minutes or until the center is set.
