Ingredients

  • 3 Cornish hens, rinsed, patted dry, giblets and neck removed
  • 2 tbsp. salad oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 c. apple jelly, melted

Preparation

Step 1

Sprinkle body cavity with salt and pepper. Brush hens with oil.
Spray lower rack with cooking spray. Place rack inside unit. lay hens on rack. Brush with melted apple jelly.
Turn temperature to 350 degrees. Cook for 20 minutes. Open lid and brush a little more jelly on birds and continue to cook for 25 minutes. hens are done when you can easily move legs up and down and juices run clear.
