Ingredients
- 1 lb extra lean ground beef
- 4 c water
- 1 lb potatoes, pared and chopped
- 1/2 med onion, chopped
- 2 cans (4 oz each) mushroom pieces, drained (optional)
- 1 envelope dry low-sodium onion soup mix
- 1 can (16 oz) diced tomatoes
- 2 medium carrots, chopped
- (maybe some cabbage, too)

Preparation
Step 1
Brown beef in nonstick skillet over medium heat.
Combine all ingredients in slow cooker.
Cover. Cook on low 8 hours
Per serving:
200 cal, 14 g protein, 22 g crab, 5 g fat, 2 g sat fat, 20 mg cholesterol, 3 g fiber, 1,239 mg sodium.
