Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter (softened)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg yolk (save the white separately)
- 1 cup flour
- chopped nuts (can be almonds, pecans, or walnuts)
- Currant jelly

Step 1
Mix butter & sugar - add yolk in slowly & beat until smooth. Add flour. Roll in to small balls & dip in egg white. Then roll in the chopped nuts.
Bake for 5 minutes at 300 degrees.
Remove from oven and press down centers w/ thimble. Bake 15 minutes longer & then put current jelly in centers while warm.
