Pita Chip Sampler
It’s easy and economical to make these healthy pita chips at home. For a mini world tour, try all three versions provided here: Italian, Mexican and Indian. One or all is sure to please.

Ingredients
- Italian Topping:
- 4 pitas (6-inch size)
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 tbsp prepared pesto
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp finely chopped parsley
- Mexican Topping:
- 1 1/2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/4 tsp ground cumin
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- Indian Topping:
- 1 1/2 tbsp olive oil
- 3/4 tsp curry powder
- 1/8 tsp turmeric (optional)
- 1/8 tsp ground cloves
- 1/4 tsp sugar

Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 350ºF. Split pitas along outside seams, using serrated knife. Gently peel halves apart. Stack pitas and cut into 8 wedges. Arrange wedges, rough side up, on 2 baking sheets.
2. In 3 small separate dish¬es, combine Italian, Mexican and Indian topping ingredi¬ents, stirring until combined. Brush one third of the chips with each of toppings. Sprinkle with salt.
3. Bake until toasted and crisp in centers, about 13 minutes.
