This is a recipe from my grandmother, we don't have exact measurements so you will have to play with the amounts. This is a photo of my grandma many years ago.

Ingredients

  • 8-10 Potatoes (peeled)
  • Lard (amount unknown but I'd say a cup to cup and a half)
  • 5-6 eggs
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Flour

Preparation

Step 1

Boil several potatoes and mash.
Add lard while still hot.

Cool & add 5-6 eggs, salt, and flour until you get a moist (but not too moist) doughy consistency.

Form in to baseball or softball sized balls, put in boiling water for about 30 minutes. Best served with a pork roast and sauerkraut!
