Ingredients
- 6 Tb. butter
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
- 2 Tb. minced onion
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 tsp. fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp. worcestershire sauce
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 2 Tb. snipped fresh parsley leaves
- 1 lb. beef tenderloin, cut into 8 slices about 1/2 inch thick

Step 1
Melt 4Tb. of the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the mushrooms, onions, garlic, lemon juice, worcestershire sauce and salt. Cook, stirring until the mushrooms are tender. Stir in the parsley. Pour the sauce into a small sauce pan; cover with a lid and keep it warm. Melt the remaining 2 Tb. of butter in the skillet. Add the slices of steak, cooking for about 3 minutes on each side. Lay the steaks onto a serving plate and pour the warm mushroom sauce on top.
