Ingredients

  • 4 cups sugar
  • 1 2/3 cups evaporated milk
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 2 pkg (350g)semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 cups (250g)miniature marshmallows
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup coarsely-chopped walnuts

Preparation

Step 1

Butter a pan about 12 x 7 x 1 1/2

Combine sugar, milk and butter in large heavy saucepan. Set over moderate heat and cook, stirring often until a little of the mixture forms a soft ball in cold water (234 degreees on candy thermometer).

Remove from heat. Stir in chocolate chips, marshmallows and vanilla. Beat hard with a wooden spoon until chocolate and marshmellows are completely melted. Stir in nuts. Pour into prepared pan . Chill until firm and cut into squares.
