Ingredients
- 1 stick oleo
- 1 c. flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. milk
- 2 or 3 c. fruit (peaches or cherries)
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder

Step 1
Melt oleo in bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder and milk together to make batter. Pour over melted oleo. Do not stir. Sprinkle peaches or cherries over batter evenly. Cover fruit with second cup of sugar. Do not stir. Bake in 350 degree oven until tests done. If frozen fruit is used, drain off most of the liquid.
