Ingredients

  • 3 T sugar
  • 3 shots apple liqueur
  • 1 lime, sliced
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 2 ripe peaches, pitted and cut into wedges
  • 3 ripe green apples, cored and cut into wedges
  • 1 bottle dry white spanish wine, such as white Riaja
  • 1 pint raspberries
  • sparkling soda water, for topping off sangria at table

Preparation

Step 1

Combine sugar, apple liqueur, lime, lemon, peaches, and apples in a large pitche. Cover with wine and chill at least several hours. To serve, spoon fruits into glasses or goblets, adding a few fresh raspberries to each class. Pour sangria over top of the fruit, topping glasses off with a splash of soda water.
