Ingredients
- 4 T. flour
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 (8-oz) can crushed pineapple
- 2 egg yolks, beaten
- 1 1/3 c. milk

Step 1
Mix flour and sugar. Gradually add milk, stirring, bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute. Gradually add 1/2 of boiled mixture to beatenegg yolks, then blend eggs into balance of hot mixture. Boil for 1 minute more. Cool. Add pineapple and pour into baked pie shell. Meringue: Beat 2 egg whites with 1/4 teaspoon cream of tarter. Gradually beat in 4 tablespoons sugar, a little at a time. Continue beating until stiff and sugar is dissolved. Spread meringue on pie and bake at 400 degree for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
