Ingredients
- 8 C popped Pop Corn
- 1 C sugar
- 1/3 C light or dark corn syrup
- 1/3 C water
- 1/4 C Butter
- 1/2 t salt
- 1 t vanilla

Step 1
On stove top add 3 T oil and 1/3 C pop corn, or enough to cover bottom of pan 1 kernel deep.
Cover, shake over med high heat allowing steam to escape as it cooks. Pour into large bowl, salt to taste
Popcorn can be kept warm in 200 deg oven
In a 2 qt saucepan stir together sugar, water, syrup, butter, and salt. Cook over med heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil. Continue cooking without stirring until it comes to 270 deg on candy thermometer. Remove from heat, add vanilla. stir. Slowly pour over popcorn, stirring to coat every kernel. Cool just enough to handle. With greased hands shape into balls.
