S'mores Poke Brownies

By

Have you heard of poke cakes? They have been all the food blogging rage the last few years. You poke your dessert with holes, drizzle some sweet sauce on it and let is soak through. Making cake even better than average.
Today, we have the same concept, but, we are using brownies. Brownies that have marshmallows, chocolate fudge and graham crackers...the whole s'mores kit-n-caboodle. Seriously yum, my friends.
These are delicious, but, rich. Not your everyday-average brownie just to pig out on. A great special occasion dessert or holiday treat.

Get yourself a cold glass of milk and dig in!

Preparation

Step 1

Bake brownies according to recipe. Let them cool for 30 minutes after removing from oven.
With a wooden spoon handle, poke holes in cooled brownies, about an inch apart. Go through to the bottom of the pan.
In a microwave safe bowl, heat marshmallow fluff for 30 seconds. Remove, then, stir in water until smooth and easy to pour. Pour over brownies. Let the fluff soak in for 20-30 minutes.
Take half of the chocolate syrup and spread on top of marshmallow fluff.
Then, sprinkle on broken graham crackers, then, top with mini marshmallows.
To get marshmallows toasted, place brownies in preheated broiler for just 2-3 minutes.
Drizzle top of toasted marshmallows with chocolate fudge topping before serving. You don't have to use the whole remaining syrup (you can if you want!), just whatever amount you desire.
Cutting brownies is much easier if you spray a sharp knife with non stick cooking spray.
