Ingredients
- Filling Ingredients:
- 1 cup cacao or raw cacao powder
- 1 cup full fat or light coconut milk
- 1 1/2 cup raw cashews, soaked for 1 – 2 hours
- 1/4 cup raw honey or 3 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- Crust Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups cashews
- 1 tablespoon finely ground coffee
- 2 teaspoons cocoa or cacao powder
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- 1 tablespoon raw honey or 1/2 teaspoon maple syrup
- Topping suggestions:
- cacao nibs
- sea salt
- hemp seeds + berries
- toasted coconut
- bananas
- coconut whip

Preparation
Step 1
Filling:
Combine all of the ingredients in a food processor and blend until completely smooth. This could take a few minutes, set aside when done.
Crust:
Combine all of the ingredients in a food processor and pulse until it is finely ground and starts to form a ball.
Press the crust mixture into the bottom of a tart pan or if you don’t have a tart pan, you could you a brownie or bread pan lined with parchment paper instead.
Then pour the filling on top and smooth. Pop it in the freezer for 1 hour to set or in the refrigerator for a couple hours. Cut and serve immediately, keep any leftover tart refrigerated.
