Norma's Pecan Pie

Ingredients

• CRUST:
• 3 eggs
• 1 c corn syrup
• 1 c sugar
• dash of salt
• 2 TBs butter
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 2 c flour
• 3/4 c shortening
• 1 tsp salt
• 6 TBs cold water

Preparation

Step 1

1. Stir eggs slightly. Add remaining and mix well. Pour into a 9" pie shell. Top pie the pecans.

Crust:
Cut shortening into flour and salt until pea size pieces. Slowly add 4 TBs of water. Add more water if needed. Chill for aleast 1 hour before rolling out.

Bake on 300' for 50-60 minutes.
