Meat Loaf with Vegetables

Ingredients
- 5 1/2 lbs. gound chuck
- 1 lb. whole hog sausage
- 4 eggs
- 2/3 c. Ritz cracker crumbs
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1 c. catsup
- 1/2 tsp. Kitchen Bouquet
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. Accent
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 12 med. onions
- Carrots (to make 24-2 inch pieces
- 1 sm. cabbage, cut in eighths
- 12 med.-lg. potatoes cut to size of an egg

Mix meats, eggs, cracker crumbs, milk, catsup, onions and spices well. Shape into 2 loaves; place 1 loaf in each end of a large roaster, such as an electric roaster or 1 (15 x 11 x 4 1/2=inch deep). Bake for 15 minutes at 350, uncovered. Add water to cover bottom of pan 1/2-inch; cook for 45 minutes more. Then heat carrots and onion in water and add to the meat, water and all. Cook for 15 minutes and add potatoes. Cook for 15 minutes and add cabbage by removing other vegetables and placing cabbage down in broth, replace vegetables and continue cooking until all are done, 1/2 hour or so. Spoon broth over all while cooking. After cookiing for 2 hours, meat may be removed and vegetables continue to cook.
