Ingredients

  • 1 (5-lb) rolled bonelss roast
  • 1 sm. jar pepperocini peppers
  • 1 env. onion soup mix
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 2 or 3 bay leaves
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 2 tsp. basil

Preparation

Step 1

Put juice from pepperocini in measuring cup and add water to make 3 cups. Chop the peppers. Add onion soup mix, pepper, bay leaves, oregano and basil and spoon over roast in crockpot. Cook on high for 1 hour. Then cook on low for 10 to 12 hours. Slice thin or tear apart and serve.

May also bake in covered pan for 4 hours at 350. Baste and turn every 1/2 hour.
