Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 c. water
- 2 c. flour
- 6 T. shortening
- Approx. 4 c. rhubarb, cut up
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 2 T. sugar
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 tsp. salt

Preparation
Step 1
Mix flour, shortening, baking powder, 2 tablespoons sugar, salt and milk together and roll out like biscuit dough. Cover with fresh rhubarb and dot with butter and sugar. Roll up and cut into 1-inch slices. Lay roll slices in bottom of 9 x 12-inch cake pan. Boil sugar and water together for 5 minutes. Pour over rolls and bake in 350 oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until brown.
