Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 c. sour milk or orange juice
  • 1 c. chopped apple
  • 1/3 c. walnuts

Step 1

Beat eggs until light and fluffy. Add sugar and margarine. Add vanilla. Combine flour, soda and salt and add alternately with milk or orange juice. Fold in apples and nuts. Bake in greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan at 350 for 40 minutes.
