Ingredients
- 1 pie shell, precooked
- 4 cups of blueberries, washed
- ¼ cup of water
- 2/3 cups of granulated sugar
- 3 tablespoons of cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon (nutmeg may be substituted)
- 1 Teaspoon of lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Pinch of salt
- Whipped cream for topping

Preparation
Step 1
*set aside 2 cups of raw blueberries*
In a saucepan, on medium heat, combine the remaining 2 cups of blueberries, water, sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, lemon juice, butter, and salt. Cook until thickened. Remove heat and cool. When cool, stir in the remaining 2 cups of raw blueberries and pour entire mixture into precooked pie shell. Refrigerate until chilled. At serving time, top with whipped cream and enjoy!
