Ingredients
- 1 pound 95% lean ground beef
- 10 ounces canned diced tomatoes
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, pressed
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1/3 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/3 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 1/3 cups whole wheat macaroni

Preparation
Step 1
Crumble ground beef into a slow cooker; add remaining ingredients, except macaroni. Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours.
Stir in uncooked macaroni. Cover and cook on LOW for 1 additional hour.
SERVING SUGGESTION: A big spinach salad tossed with Easy Balsamic Vinaigrette (see recipe).
GLUTEN FREE: Make sure tomatoes and pasta are gluten free.
