Ingredients
- 2/3 pound Rigatoni pasta (preferably whole wheat)
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 teaspoons minced garlic
- Black pepper, to taste

Preparation
Step 1
Cook pasta according to package directions; drain thoroughly. Meanwhile, in a saucepan fitted with a steamer basket, bring 1 inch of water to a boil. Add broccoli, cover and steam until tender, about 10 minutes. In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta and broccoli. Toss with Parmesan cheese, olive oil and garlic; season with pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
SERVING SUGGESTION: A big salad tossed with Easy Balsamic Vinaigrette (see recipe).
GLUTEN FREE: Use your favorite gluten free pasta.
