Ingredients
- 6 oz unsalted butter ( 1 stick melted, 1 stick softened)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
- 1 TB pumpkin pie spice
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1 2/3 cup flour
- 4 oz. cream cheese
- 1 cup confectioners sugar

Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 350. Line baking sheets with parchment.
2. Whisk together melted butter and brown suagr until smooth. Whisk in eggs, pumpkin puree, spice, 1 tsp vanilla, baking powder,baking soda and salt.
3. Fold in flour.
4. Drop 12 mounds of batter onto each baking sheet. Bake until springy, about 11-12 minues.
5. Cream softened butter with cream cheese. Add sugar, 2 pinches of salt and 1/2 tsp vanilla. Mix on low speed until blended; then med-high about 2 minutes until fluffy.
