Ingredients

  • Candied Pecans:
  • 2 T butter
  • 2 T packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 raw pecans
  • Maple balsmic dressing:
  • 1 small shallot finely diced
  • 1 t dijon mustard
  • 2 t balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 C EVOO
  • 2 t maple syrup
  • S/P
  • Spring Mix

Preparation

Step 1

To make the pecans, set a nonstick pan over medium heat, add butter snd sugar until melted. Add pecans and stir or toss for 1 minute to coat. Place on a silpat to cool ensuring nuts are not touching each other.

To make dressing combine all ingredients and emulsify.

Plate lettus, nuts and dress.
