Ingredients

  • 13 oz crushed pineapple
  • 2 3 oz pkgs strawberry jello
  • 3/4 cup cold water
  • 16 oz can jellied cranberry sauce
  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 TBS butter
  • 8 oz cool whip
  • 3 oz cream cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Drain pineapple juice into measuring cup, reserve pineapple. Add water to make 1 cup. Bring to boil in saucepan. When at full boil remove from heat and add jello, stirring until disolved. Add cold water, chill.

In medium bowl, combine pineapple and cranberry sauce. Mix well and stir into jello. Pour into 9" square pan. Cover and chill until firm.

Meanwhile, place pecans and butter on baking sheet. Bake 350 degrees for 8 minutes. Cool.

When jello is firm, top with mixture of cool whip and cream cheese. Spread over jello then sprinkle pecans on top
