Crock Pot Cinnamon Apples

By

This recipe is so unbelievably easy. You just take some peeled and sliced tart apples, mix them with a few simple ingredients that you probably already have on hand, and let them cook in the slow cooker for a few hours. Stir once during the cooking process to make sure all the apples gets nicely coated in the cinnamon sauce and you’ve got delicious gooey cinnamon apples in no time at all!

It tastes just like apple pie without the crust! My favorite way to serve it is on top of vanilla ice cream because then it really does feel like pie! The hot apples with the frozen ice cream is just absolute perfection! It is also really delicious stirred into oatmeal, served on top of pancakes, or just eaten with a spoon! I’ve made this recipe 3 times in the last couple weeks because we are seriously putting the apples on top of everything!

If you happen to have a can of crescent rolls on hand, I highly recommend rolling some of the cinnamon apples in the crescents and baking until golden and delicious. So good. Even better with a scoop of ice cream on the side!
