Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups water
  • 1 tsp. onion salt
  • 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cups Minute Rice
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 Tbsp. milk
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped scallions (if desired)

Step 1

In medium size saucepan combine water, onion salt and poultry seasoning. Bring to boil and remove from heat. Stir in soy sauce and rice. Cover and let stand 5 minutes. Whisk eggs, milk, salt and pepper until fluffy. In non-stick frying pan melt 1 Tbsp. butter over med. heat. Add eggs and cook just until water no longer rolls off. Add remaining 3 Tbsp. butter and melt. Add scallions and rice mixture to frying pan. Stir well to coat rice with melted butter and cook over medium high heat until rice begins to fry. Salt and pepper to taste or sprinkle with soy sauce.
