Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef sirloin, cut into strips
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 pound mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 2 large onions, sliced
  • 3 celery stalks, sliced
  • 1 can bamboo shoots

Step 1

In a large skillet, heat oil; brown meat. Push meat to one side of pan. Stir in beef broth, sugar, and soy sauce. Place mushrooms, onions, celery, and bamboo shoots in pan. Cover; let simmer 10 minutes. Serve over rice with additional soy sauce if desired.
