  • 5 lasagna noodles, cooked
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 3/4 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 3/4 cup parmesan cheese
  • 3 cups spaghetti sauce (favorite kind or homemade)
  • 6 pieces sliced Italian bread
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Step 1

Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions. Combine ricotta cheese, ½ cup mozzarella cheese, ½ cup parmesan cheese, 1 Tbsp. garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper in a small bowl. Spread cheese mixture over length of each lasagna noodle. Roll each noodle from end to end so a nice neat roll is formed (not too tight, or cheeses will squeeze out). On a sheet pan, butter one side of each slice of bread and sprinkle with garlic powder. Broil until golden. Flip each slice of bread over and repeat process. In a 9 x 13 casserole dish, spread ½ cup of spaghetti sauce to coat bottom of pan. Stand each rolled noodle on end down center of dish to form a line. Lay garlic toasts on sides of pan. Spoon spaghetti sauce over the top of the standing noodles and a small amount over the garlic toasts. Top entire dish with remaining parmesan and mozzarella cheeses. Return to oven until cheeses are melted and starting to brown. Serves 5 at one noodle roll per person.
