Ingredients
- 1 rack of spareribs
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 3 Tbsp. honey
- 2 tsp. garlic (minced)
- 1 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. grated fresh ginger
- 1/2 lemon

Step 1
Place the spareribs (meaty side up) in a large, shallow baking pan and bake for one hour and thirty minutes at 425 degrees. In the meantime, combine ketchup, soy sauce, chili powder, honey, garlic, vinegar and ginger in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil; squeeze the juice from the half lemon into the sauce. Cut the squeezed lemon into quarters and add to sauce. Bring to a boil. Pour off the fat from the spareribs. Brush them on top with the sauce. Turn the spareribs and brush the other side with the sauce. Return the spareribs to the oven and bake for fifteen (15) minutes, basting occasionally.
