Ingredients

  • 1 (48 oz.) jar great northern beans
  • 1 (28 oz.) can chopped Italian tomatoes
  • 1 10 oz. package frozen chipped spinach, thawed
  • 1 lb. diced ham
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 T brown sugar
  • 3 T olive oil

Preparation

Step 1

Saute onion in olive oil over medium heat. Add diced ham and saute several minutes. Transfer onions and ham to crock pot. Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly. Cook on low for 4 to 5 hours. Serve with cornbread.
