Cakes: Aunt Annie's Pound Cake

Ingredients

• 1.2 Carnation Milk
• 2 cups sugar
• 1/2 lb butter
• 3 cup flour
• 4 eggs
• 1 1/2 t cream of tartar
• 1/2 t soda
• 1/2 t salt
• 1 t vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter and sugar
Add eggs one at a time
Add flour gradually until used up
Then add the milk
Sift dry ingredients together - salt, cream of tatar and soda
Bake at 325 degrees for about 1 hour
