Chocolate Cake and Frosting

Mom's homemade chocolate cake and frosting

Ingredients

• -CAKE-
• 2 c. flour
• 2 c. sugar
• 1 stick oleo
• 1 c. water
• 1/2 c. oil
• 4 T cocoa
• 2 eggs
• 1 t baking soda
• 1/2 c. buttermilk
• dash of salt
• -Icing-
• 1 stick oleo
• 1/3 c. milk
• 4 T cocoa
• 1 t vanilla
• box of powdered sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Cake
-Bring oleo, water, oil, and cocoa to a boil in a saucepan for less than 1 minute. Pour into flower and sugar gradually. Add remaining ingredients. Pour into greased bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes

Icing
- cook first 4 ingredients in saucepan and boil for 1 minute. Add powdered sugar
