Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Sugar
  • 2 1/4 cups all purpose flower
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda disolved in 1/4 cup sour milk*
  • 4 large ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup chopped pecans (optional)
  • *to make sour milk, place 1 tablespoon vinegar in a measuring cup. Add milk to 1/4 cup

Step 1

combine all ingredient in order listed. Pour into 5x9 loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes. Yield 12-16 servings per loaf. Freezes well
