Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 envelope Lipton Onion Soup Mix
  • 1 can (15 to 19 oz.) red kidney or black beans, drained
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
  • 4 tsp chili powder*

Preparation

Step 1

1. In 12-inch skiller, brown ground beef over medium-high heat; drain.

2. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer covered, stirring occasionally, 20 mins. Serve, if desired, over hot cooked rice or noodles.
