Ingredients
- 2 lbs. ground beef
- 1 (1 oz. ) envelope from a 2-oz. pkg of dry onion soup mix.
- 2 (.75oz.) envelopes (from a 3oz. pkg. dry tomato soup mix
- 3/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup pickle relish
- 2 Tbsp. minced green peppers
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp. anise extract
- 1 Tbsp. dry parsley flakes
- 1 Tbsp. worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup flour
- hamburger buns or sliders

Preparation
Step 1
Press ground beef into an ungreased 10-in. heavy skillet. Cover with a tight-fitting lid and simmer 15 min. Add remaining ingredients, except flour and hamburger buns, in order listed, and stir to blend well.
Add flour, then again pack evenly into the bottom of the skillet. Cover and let simmer 8 to 10 min. or until meat is fully cooked. Spoon into hamburger buns.
