Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2-1 lb 14 oz cans pineapple chunks
- 1 pkg yeast
- 1 cup margarine
- 3 Tbsp. corn starch
- 1 beaten egg yolk
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1 Tbsp Sugar
- 4 egg yolks
- 4 cups flour

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375. Combine the sugar, corn starch and salt in a saucepan. Stir in egg yold and pineapple. Cook until thick. Cool. Scald the milk and add the sugar. Cool to lukewarm. Dissolve the yeast in 1/4 cup water. Add milk mixture. Beat in egg yolks. Cut margarine into flour. Beat in yeast mixture. Divide in half. Roll out half to fit jelly roll pan. Spread with filling. Cover with remaining dough. Slit top. Cover and let rise. Bake for 35 minutes. Let cool 10 minutes and frost with plain icing or 10X and water mixture.
