  • 1/3 cup hot coffee
  • 1 (6 oz) semisweet chocolate morsels
  • 4 eggs separated
  • 2 tablespoons Creme de Cacao
  • 1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • whipped cream

Preparation

Step 1

Combine hot coffee and chocolate morsels in an electric blender. Process until smooth. Add egg yolks and Creme de Cacao and process one minute. Beat egg whites (at room temp) and creme of tartar until stiff peaks form. Fold into chocolate mixture. Spoon into stemmed glasses or individual serving dishes. Chill until set. Top with whipped cream.
