  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons water
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour sifted
  • 1 cup pecans
  • powdered sugar

Step 1

Soften butter and mix sugar. Add other ingredients, mix well and chill in refrigerate for 4 hours. Roll into balls. Bake at 325 F on ungreased cookie sheet for 20 minutes or till bottoms are lightly browned.

Gently shake cooled cookies in a bag with powdered sugar.
