  • 1 head celery chopped fine
  • 4 cups rice washed
  • 1 medium onion chopped fine

Step 1

Fry oysters in non-stick pan. As frying drain off all water and save water. Once all water is removed from oysters, fry oysters in oil in skillet to brown. Then add celery and onion and cook 10 to 15 minutes. Add rice and water, including water from oysters, until 1 inch over rice. Cook until water is almost completely evaporated. Cover pot and put in oven at low temperature. Stir after 1/2 hour and continue to cook for 1 1/2 hours.
