  • 1 cup confectioner's sugar
  • 2 cups sifted flour
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1 1/2 cups currant jelly
  • 4 egg whites
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 cups ground nuts

Step 1

Mix together butter, confectioners sugar, sifted flour, and egg yolks. Line this mixture into cookie sheet and bake 10 minutes at 350 F. Next spread with currant jelly. Then spread with a mixture of egg whites beaten with sugar and add cinnamon. Fold in 2 cups ground nuts. Bake 25 minutes more at 350 F. Cut into squares.
